Olga Danilytcheva-Averin is a Certified Public Accountant and a Partner in the Advisory Services Department of Prager Metis CPAs, LLC. Her accounting practice specializes in forensic accounting and valuation services including business, professional license and intellectual property appraisals, asset search and income verification.
She has extended experience in assisting parties in resolving their financial disputes in and out of the Court system, as part of matrimonial dissolutions and commercial disputes. Ms. Averin has testified as an expert witness in the Supreme Court of the State of New York and the Federal Court, Southern District of New York.
As a member of the International and New York Associations of Collaborative Professionals, she dedicates part of her practice to assisting couples through mediation and collaborative divorce resolution processes.
Ms. Averin is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) and Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF), credentials awarded by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Ms. Averin is also a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), a credential awarded by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE). Ms. Averin is well known in the professional community; she was published in “Who’s Who in Accounting and Green” section of the Long Island Business News.
In addition to her accounting/finance education, Ms. Averin has a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and related research, industry and teaching experience.
